“Open your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy”
You know, I just didn’t recognize the verse. Fr. Miroljub sends me the daily Scripture readings but uses the King James Version (which is also what I have) and it’s worded a little differently than what you quoted. Probably I’m just senile!!! I hope you’re doing well and in good spirits. I’m sure I’ll see you in Church tomorrow morning. I couldn’t make it tonight, it was 630 when I got home from the bookstore and Father Stevan’s office and then I had to make lots of copies for Church things at Fr. Michael’s office since the copier doesn’t work in FSB’s office as I think you already know! Glory be to God for all things as we wind down this last week of Great Lent.
That’s a profound verse. …..I’m going to read the whole chapter to get the full sense of the quote. Thanks for discovering it.
