Khouria Frederica Mathewes-Green, author and NPR commentator, will discuss the Theotokos as refuge, nurturer and healer, the history of procreative challenges in the early church and the urgent necessity for compassion within faith communities for all those confronting life choices. Representatives from Matrix LifeCare Center of Lafayette will also discuss pre and postnatal care options and resources. |
